At Victory Design i am an apprentice and my job involves me to understand the full range of products and services offered by the company. To ensure that all production jobs are produced promptly and efficiently, all jobs meet the customers requirements, all the jobs done in production are recorded and entered on job cards. To ensure all machinery in department is correctly maintained. to always ensure all jobs are checked against their job card details, and checked and signed by two people before sending.
The products and services Victory Design offers: As a company in the warehouse we sell all sorts of materials ranging from vinyl to banner material and even printers. All of the materials that we sell, we use in Production where all of the sign making is done from making banners to banner stands and plotting vinyl to weeding the vinyl. After the required signige is made it is then sent down to the warehouse where they send it to the custormer via courier.
In production each job is brought down to one of us depending what it is and then proofed and sent back to the custormer to see if they approve of what is going to be printed. Then when we get the all clear it is then sent to the printer and left to dry, so it doesnt pick up any scratches or marks. After it is dry it will be finished, depending on what it is differs how it gets finished. A banner will be cut down hemmed and eyelited. Then the item is bagged and boxed and the paper work gets signed and checked. Then it is sent to the warehouse where it is ready for delievery.
The design work that we do is small vectorising work because we dont really have the time for any bigger jobs, and we might just do the placing of images and writing onto a banner or banner stand.
